Tips for Session Organizers

The APS Annual Meeting Program Committee develops the format and schedule of events for the annual meeting. This group is chaired by the President-Elect of APS and also includes the SPB Director, the Vice-President, Sr. Councilor-at-large, Section Chairs, and all General Policy and Subject Matter Chairs. Any member of APS may submit a session proposal to this committee by following the instructions and submitting the completed forms. (I think this is still correct, but I would need to check further--[LMH, 2011])

APS webpage has information on who, when, how, and why to submit session proposals. They post it on the Meetings section, during the planning period for each meeting. The information for the 2012 meeting can be found here:
