Tips for Session Organizers
The APS Annual Meeting Program Committee develops the format and schedule of events for the annual meeting. This group is chaired by the President-Elect of APS and also includes the SPB Director, the Vice-President, Sr. Councilor-at-large, Section Chairs, and all General Policy and Subject Matter Chairs. Any member of APS may submit a session proposal to this committee by following the instructions and submitting the completed forms.
APS maintains a webpage with information for session organizers. It is called the “Annual meeting planning site”, and contains Instructions, deadlines, and planning materials for chairs and organizers.
